These earthen candle vessels are shaped from locally foraged clays and minerals in collaboration with local Berkeley potter Matt Fishman (as mentioned in The New York Times). Hand-poured with our original base of tallow, calendula wax, and raw beeswax, scented with highly perfumed moody Lapsang Souchong smoky black tea, warm spice of Moroccan cardamom pods, and transcending Vietnamese siam wood and Omani Frankincense resins. Indeed a reflection of the local Northern California landscape in form and spirit, our earthen candles are the perfect pair for a foggy day in the Bay. Fog Glazed is made from foraged, wild clay from the Sierra Mountains and natural, handmade glaze. Due to the handmade construction, locally forged clay medium, and pit-fired setting, variations in clay color do occur. Each vessel is 4 ounces and made only for Summer Solace.
